US seeks closer India ties amid China threat

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is calling for closer cooperation with India to confront potential threats posed by China.
Both nations are experiencing strained relations with Beijing.
And now the US and India have signed a defence pact to share military technology and classified satellite data.
